Qi Broth Herbs


Qi Broth Herbs are an efficient way to add medicinal herbs to daily meals. Our recipe includes four herbs that strengthen the immune system and aid the body's recovery from stress and overstimulation.

Astragalus is an adaptogen that boots immunity. Angelica and white peony root work synergistically to nourish blood and calm the mind. Codonopsis is a premier tonic to build and protect Qi energy within.

Qi Broth herbs impart a very light, neutral flavor that plays well in broths, soups and recipes of all kinds.

Preparing the herbs in fresh water (instead of broth/stock) is great in smoothies, oatmeal, grains or simply as a healing tonic teas.

Ingredients: Astragalus, codonopsis, white peony root, and Chinese angelica root. Pesticide free.

Instructions: Add herbs to filtered water, vegetable or meat stock (up to 80 oz of liquid). Simmer for at least 15 minutes and up to 24 hours. Do not reduce the liquid. Strain out the herbs and store liquid in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or the freezer for up to 3 months.

They are conveniently packaged with an unbleached muslin bags as singles, or in paperboard tubes containing 4 muslin bags of herbs. Each package contains an insert care with instructions on how to prepare. 1 to 4 oz.

Our herbs are always pesticide-free or organic. We use herbs that are sustainably sourced and locally grown by small independent farmers whenever possible.
