A Japanese green tea for everyday wellness. Bancha is a daily tea in Japan made from the late-harvested tea leaves and stems, offering a refreshing, crisp flavor that’s naturally low in caffeine. We blend this traditional green tea with chrysanthemum flowers for a soft floral finish.
Hana means flower in Japanese—and this tea is named in honor of our great-grandmother, Hana Sonoda Kaku.
Flavor: Smooth, crisp, and delicately floral.
Ingredients: Japanese bancha green tea*, chrysanthemum flowers and petals*. All organic* or pesticide-free ingredients. Contains caffeine. Made in California. Packaged as a 1.25 oz loose-leaf tea in a rice paper bag.
Serving: Pour 8 oz of simmering water (180°F / 80°C) over 1 tsp of tea. Cover and steep 2 minutes. Strain and enjoy. Resteep as you please.
